Membership Expectations

As a member of the Kiwanis Club of Lebanon, we hope you find your place in our club to quickly utilize your skills and make a difference in our community. We always have a place for volunteers looking to put their skillsets to good use! Being involved is part of being a Kiwanis member, a few ways you can be an active member: • Attend Monday meetings as frequently as possible • Participate in club service projects and fundraisers. • Recruit, sponsor, and support new members. • Consider taking an active role in club administrative activities There are some administrative requirements such as periodic training, background checks, & quarterly membership dues. WHAT DO YOU DO DURING A MEETING?

If you're considering joining for the first time, you may be curious about how Monday meetings flow. Parking is located behind First United Methodist Church, then enter Hesson Hall from the courtyard. We'll be ready to greet you at noon with food! The first 10-15 minutes of each meeting are reserved for eating and networking. The meeting then begins around 12:15pm with a pledge, prayer, and mission statement before we share club announcements and handoff to that week's presenter. Meetings will end by 1pm so you can maintain your other commitments. Exceptions to this flow will be service project days or bank holidays when we do not meet or meet offsite. Club Dues

As of Dec 2023, dues are billed $212.50 quarterly. This cost averages to $21.25/week and covers meals each Monday, Kiwanis local dues, Kiwanis Kentucky-Tennesse district dues, and Kiwanis International dues.
